LineSpex OS Platform

Purpose

This document provides an overview of LineSpex OS and the software maintenance model for supported LineSpex
DVR and NVR products. It is intended for IT departments, cybersecurity reviewers, and technical evaluators.
Scope: This document applies to supported LineSpex DVR and NVR products running LineSpex OS 10.x.

LineSpex OS Platform

LineSpex OS is a proprietary embedded software platform developed, maintained, and supported by LineSpex for supported LineSpex DVR and NVR appliances.

The current platform provides the operating environment for LineSpex recording, playback, camera management, storage, networking, event handling, and integration capabilities. LineSpex controls its architecture, software development, testing, release process, and ongoing maintenance.
