How LineSpex Installation Works
LineSpex delivers a turnkey video monitoring system for manufacturing lines.
We own the design, performance, and success of the system, without acting as a construction or electrical contractor.
1. We Design the System for Your Line
Every LineSpex deployment starts with scoping.
We work with your engineering, maintenance, or operations team to determine:
- Which machines and zones need coverage
- Where cameras should be placed
- What mounting methods are appropriate
- How power and networking will be provided
- How the system fits into your environment, including washdown, vibration, and clearance
This is done through virtual scoping and, when required, paid on-site scoping.
By the time installation begins, nothing is left to guesswork.
2. Your Authorized Team Installs the Hardware
The physical installation is performed by your maintenance team, electrician, OEM, or integrator.
This includes:
- Mounting cameras
- Running and securing cables
- Connecting power and Ethernet
- Installing switches or PoE where required
These tasks must be done by licensed and authorized personnel who follow your plant’s safety, insurance, and validation policies.
LineSpex does not perform this work because we are not a licensed or insured electrical or mechanical contractor, and we are not authorized to modify or wire customer equipment.
3. LineSpex Validates and Brings the System Online
Once the hardware is in place, LineSpex will:
- Validate camera views and coverage
- Configure recording, playback, and dashboards
- Confirm system performance
- Train your team
- Provide ongoing support
From this point forward, LineSpex remains the main point of contact for the system working and delivering value.

What “Turnkey” Means at LineSpex
LineSpex provides a turnkey video monitoring system designed for simple, repeatable plant deployment.
Turnkey does not mean LineSpex sends people with ladders and drills. It means you receive a fully designed, guided, validated, and supported system without having to manage the technical details yourself.
Your authorized personnel or integrator performs the physical installation. LineSpex owns the system design, performance, and results.
This model allows us to support everything from a single line to global rollouts without becoming a bottleneck.
